Reno works for a better environment.  In 2009 he founded and is currently the Director of the Center for Environment and National Security at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.  He has organized and led two symposia mixing scientists with Washington policy makers and does grant work for the EPA, USAID and World Bank.  He served in the Department of State in Washington as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Oceans, Environment, Science and Health. Bentham Paulos

Director, America’s Power Plan

Bentham Paulos is a consultant and writer on clean energy policy, industry trends, and philanthropy. He is currently the director of America’s Power Plan, a project of the Energy Foundation and Energy Innovation.

  He was a program director with the Energy Foundation from 2000 to 2013, making grants to promote renewable energy and utility efficiency, and creating and managing a program on advanced biofuels. 

 He previously worked for the Energy Center of Wisconsin, the Union of Concerned Scientists, and Abt Associates, and has an MA in Energy Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA from Tufts University.

 

Jeff Meyer Norway - Sognefjell Mtn15Jeffrey Meyer

Jeffrey Meyer is a writer and volunteer for SanDiego350 and Citizens Climate Lobby.  He has 40 years experience as a journalist and book publisher, has a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas and is a media advisor to several local community organizations.  His editorials on climate change are featured on numerous local, national and international websites, as well as California newspapers.
