The San Diego World Affairs Council offers business briefings and luncheons to promote international commerce in the Greater San Diego region.
The luncheon programs are designed to be a combination of cultural education, public diplomacy outreach, political-economic briefing, and commercial briefing by visiting Embassy or Consular officials including Trade Attachés. The luncheon format is a panel discussion followed a Q&A session. Local business owners or executives serve a vital role on the panels as may local academic or cultural experts. Networking with presenters and fellow business peers is a vital element of the luncheon format.
Private meetings with Embassy or Consular officials or visiting dignitaries can be arranged on a customized basis upon request.
