The Council’s North County Chapter expands the events available to the community with regularly scheduled, free programs in the North County inland area. North County Chapter programs are announced on the website.
September 9, 2010 - "The Voyages of Captain Cook"
with Bob Parda
Mr. Bob Parda, a new board member for the NCC, will present "Voyages of Captain Cook," an overview of the voyages of one of the world's greatest explorers, Capt. James Cook. As a retired Navy officer, former navigator, navigation instructor and someone who is fascinated by Cook's exploits, Bob will detail some of the amazing accomplishments achieved by his three world voyages during the latter part of the 18th Century.
