About this Program
In a time of global economic uncertainty and shifting trade alliances, the future of North American economic integration is at a critical crossroads. Join us for an important public forum that brings together high-level leaders from the United States, Mexico, and Canada to examine the evolving impact of tariffs, the implementation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), and the broader outlook for trilateral economic cooperation.
This special event—co-organized by the North American Forum, Institute of the Americas, UC San Diego Center for U.S.-Mexico Studies, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Smart Border Coalition, and San Diego World Affairs Council —will feature prominent voices from government, business, and academia. Together, we’ll explore how tariff disruptions are reshaping supply chains, investment decisions, and the future of regional competitiveness across North America and, in particular, the San Diego-Baja California border region.
