Academic WorldQuest is a fun, fast-paced team competition for high school students.
It tests players' knowledge of current international politics, geography, global economics, history, and world cultures.
The winning team is invited to represent San Diego in the national competition in Washington DC (online this year)
on April 17, 2021.

| How To Participate Step 1.
Create and register... Your 4-person* team, and on-campus academic advisor, at our AWQ Registration Page The cost is $60 per team (waivable per need--check further below for contact). Registration deadline is March 1, 2021. *We request that you register a total of 5 team members (4 participants + 1 substitute), to allow for replacements in the event that one of the original 4 cannot attend. Step 2.
Download... The free, Official Study Guide from the WACA site. Alternatively, you may also find it on our site here: All the San Diego competition questions will be drawn from the Official Study Guide--10 questions on 10 topics, for a grand total of 100 questions. Step 3.
Attend and Compete... In the San Diego AWQ competition online, on Saturday March 13, 2021 from 9:00am 12:00pm PST
